Heraldry is the practice of designing and using distinctive coats of arms as a means of identification and cultural celebration. While many nations have official bodies that grant and record arms, there is a long tradition of folks designing and adopting arms without official sanction. My arms are assumed in this spirit.
This Armorial collects everything related to my heraldic identity, including my personal arms and the many ways others have interpreted and emblazoned them, as well as a roll of arms filled with emblazonments I have created for others over the years.

MottoSingen Sie tapfer! (Sing Bravely!)
I assumed the first edition of my arms in July of 2019, after working intently with members of the Heraldry Community Discord server to refine both my ideas and understanding of Heraldry. I say that was the “first edition”, because prior to March 2025 the Crest on top of my arms was a Phrygian cap Gules charged with a cockade Or, Azure, Or. I decided in February of 2025 to finally change this, as I was never fully satisfied with the double-representation of the Phrygian cap and overall awkwardness of its construction. In March I finally completed and assumed the second edition of my arms, which are the same ones I bear today.

Roll of Arms ❧
Historically, a roll of arms is a record of coats of arms, often compiled to identify knights in the field, document the arms of a household, preserve heraldic knowledge, etc. This roll serves a similar purpose: a record of arms I have emblazoned for others, primarily as part of exchanges in the Heraldry Community Discord and other communities I’ve been part of over the years.
